The Chameleon…
As promised, here are photos of the Chameleon refillable notebook (my version of the Traveler’s Notebook) that I made for Patrick Ng. I’ll be sending it along to Hong Kong in the morning.

Patrick’s cover is made from a nice dark cowhide that has that “well worn” look. He choose a flap pocket for the back but it is also available with a large slash pocket similar to the one on the inside front of the cover. It’s got a leather bookmark with decorative beads that can be replaced with whatever you like. The cover comes with 6 refills. Three of plain paper and three of grid paper. It also comes with a cloth bag for protection and an set of extra elastic bands.
I am in the process of making these to put in my shop. In the mean time, if you are interested in getting your own Chameleon, shoot me an email and I’ll let you know the colors of leather that I have available as well as the price, etc.
The Chameleons are available for order now. Please check out the Chameleon page for more information.
I will also be creating instructions for making your own refills. I will post them on the site when they are done.

WOW THANKS JACKIE!!!!

This is a lovely — and very functional — notebook!

Comment by Amy — March 21, 2008 @ 11:21 amI like this little notebook so much, so I tried to make one myself - inspired by your gorgeous work, Jackie! Here is what I have come up with: http://www.danyeela.de/wp/?p=314
Comment by Danyeela — March 22, 2008 @ 5:33 amI stitched around the borders to make sure that the layers don’t open up.
