Good afternoon readers.

Murphy’s law is in full swing today. Now that Christmas is over I am finding alot of cool ideas for gifts to make. Guess I’ll just have to save them for next year or special occassions such as birthdays, etc.

It’s been pretty quiet here since Christmas. Tommorrow I’ll be cooking snacks and food for a New Year’s Eve dinner.

A couple of things…

In preparation for the New Year and the “cleaning out fest” I am hoping to have this week, here is a nice article on stuff and how we accumulate it.

Through another blog I discovered a site called Cool Tools that reviews nifty little tools that people might find useful. One of the tool reviews on there was for a Mini Booklet Stapler. What book or zine maker doesn’t need one of these?

Need a cover for your full size Moleskine journal? Gfeller Casemakers is now offering a leather cover. Here’s a link to an article about them.

If you like to sew your own journaling accessories, here’s a quick and easy pencil bag tutorial. You could even sew this by hand if you don’t have a machine.

Here’s an interesting technique for decorating those Moleskine Cahiers or even your homemade versions.
