Weds. evening, just checking in…

Filed under: General — jackie @ 11:01 pm

Hey there readers.

Thought I’d pop in and show you some pretty stuff I got today as well as a finished album.

I got these silks and the really pretty red fabric today. The silks were bought with a specific project in mind and the red fabric will make a great wedding album cover. All of these look much prettier in person. The one in the middle is actually a bluish purple and the one on top is more of a light purple. What I like about the Dupioni silks is that they can look different depending on how light falls on them.

Here is a closeup of the pattern in the red fabric.

I finished a demo album today. The cover is a green linen with Japanese paper endpapers.

Here’s a detail showing a bit of the endpaper.

I hope everyone has a great evening.

  2. I love that Lama Li Tibetan Cloud paper! You might like to look at Carol Blinn’s Warwick Press site to see “Morning Glory”, four poems by Peter Fallon covered in Lama Li. Carol’s printing, as always, is beautiful.
