Friday musings and missing pens…

Filed under: General — jackie @ 9:01 am

Good morning readers.

It’s sunny and warming up here in Va. Beach. I am off to visit a pen shop this morning that I just found out about. I love fountain pens and stationary so it will be a real treat to visit.

Since I am going to visit a pen shop I thought I might get some new ink for my fountain pens. I’m in the process of revamping my studio and couldn’t find my box of pens in any of the usual places. I eventually found them, in their safe keeping place, but it was really frustrating for a little while as I searched everywhere for them. I had visions of them accidently going to Goodwill.

I thought some of you might be interested the nice little tutorial on making a hole punching jig that breaks down for travel in this issue of The Bonefolder, an e-journal for the bookbinder and book artist. If you haven’t checked out the magazine you def. should as there is lots of great information in each issue. It’s put out by Peter Verheyen who runs the Book Arts Web.

Just a note on my free tutorials…I will be moving the links from the sidebar to their own page in the next few days. The page is all set up and ready to go if you’d like to have a look. I just need to get a link up for it.

I hope everyone has a great day.
