Obligitory food content (For Clara )…last night I made some quick apple turnovers using filo dough for the crust. Basically I took about four layers of dough and brushed them with butter. Added about a cup of peeled apples that had been mixed with lemon juice as well asĂ‚Â sugar and cinnamon to tase. Then folded over the dough and brushed a little butter on top and then sprinkled it with a little sugar. 20 mins in the oven at about 400 degrees. They were good and made a light evening snack to go perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea. Easy enough that even a non baker can make them.
Of note in the bookbinding world…
