Celebrate Friday…

“Celebrate the happiness that friends are always giving, make every day a holiday and celebrate just living!â€? Amanda Bradley

Good afternoon readers…

I’ve been up and out to a job and back this morning. I’m also working hard to finish up my new guide which if all goes well will be available this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed.

A quick shout out to all you folks who are visiting via the Bibliophile Bullpen. You gotta love their tagline “a whiff of old books with your coffee.” :o

While I was at my favorite local art supply store yesterday.(Jerry’s of course) I noticed that they have grey board/chipboard in large sheets. It’s not quite as dense as binders board but for about $5.50 for a 32″x40″ board it’s very useable for many type of book projects.

If you have a minute surf over to the Convivio site and check out the listing of noteable days to celebrate in June in their Book of Days. From the site: “The Convivio Book of Days is here to help bring ceremony to your days. “Convivio” after all, translates essentially to “with life”, a word that belongs very much to the realm of celebration and festivity. We believe that though there is much to wonder at in the world today, perhaps our ancestors had a better grasp of what is truly meaningful in life. If you take but one day that we list in our ongoing Book of Days and make it a meaningful one, gathering friends and family when you can, then we’d feel like we’re something quite worthwhile.”

Go forth and celebrate Friday!
