Saturday morning musings and Gocco…

Filed under: Gocco, Morning Musings — jackie @ 9:48 am

Good morning readers.

The only thing predictable about the weather here is that it is unpredictable. Today it is cold again after being fairly warm yesterday.

They are having the Polar Plunge down at the beach today. It would be nice if it would warm up a bit for those intrepid folks who will be jumping in the water to benefit charity but it doesn’t look like it will be as warm as yesterday. More power to them.

So… I have been considering selling one of my precious Gocco machines to help fund the purchase of the Szirmai book. If you’re not familiar with Gocco, it’s basically a simple way to screenprint cards, tags and a number of other items. The possibilities are limitless.

Here is one example of how the Gocco was used on book covers. Paperiaarre makes linen covered books with lovely little Gocco prints on them.

Etsy has tons of Goccoed items available if you’re interested in seeing how they are used. One popular way to use them these days is to print onto the little Moleskine Cahiers.

That said, I have a Gocco B6 printer available. Information on the Gocco I have for sale can be found here.

Edited to add that if anyone is looking for more info on Gocco printers or would like to purchase a newer model here are a few links you might find helpful.

Check out the Gooco mailing list on Yahoo for lots of great info and discusssions about Gocco printing.

I hope everyone has a great day.
